Komoshi is an elementary school student who suffers from severe atopic dermatitis, experiencing skin rashes and intense itching, which affect his learning and daily life. After undergoing treatment with oral immunosuppressants and topical steroids, his condition has significantly improved, and he has regained confidence to return to school. Atopic dermatitis can affect a child's physical and mental development, and basic moisturizing care can reduce the incidence. Atopic dermatitis may appear during infancy, with symptoms such as redness, swelling, dryness, flaking, and itching on the head and face. As the condition worsens, inflammation can spread to areas like limbs. Older children often show symptoms in skin folds around the neck, earlobes, elbows, wrists, and knees.
