In the living room planning, a bar coffee area was designed, integrating a daybed and sofa area to meet diverse usage needs, showcasing the richness of life. Additionally, the use of glass sliding doors and wooden book walls enhances the functionality and beauty of the space, demonstrating the unique charm of Japanese living.
Duoer Designers is a place where people can relax their bodies and minds and regain vitality. The design team values both the quality and quantity of design, drawing nourishment from past experiences, and professionally showcasing that design is not only an expression of aesthetics but also a symbol of a lifestyle attitude. Considering the narrow characteristics of this space, the team focuses on both the comfort and functionality of living, pursuing a bright and warm living environment. They utilize professional design thinking to satisfy storage needs through the choice of tones and materials, creating a natural and leisurely relaxing atmosphere.
This case is an 80 ping four-bedroom, two-living-room, four-story new house, designed comprehensively to accommodate the owner's living habits, creating a smooth living flow and appropriately dividing spaces to maximize the functions of each area. The design concept focuses on utilizing large windows to bring in light, creating an ideal bright and airy environment, and integrating a simplistic Japanese style, perfectly combining various design techniques and materials to create a comfortable living atmosphere that enhances the quality of the living environment and showcases a minimalist and fresh taste for life.
In the design of the spatial layout, the team breaks through traditional forms, particularly planning a bar coffee area in the living room, using a daybed design connected to the sofa area, which can be flexibly adjusted according to usage needs, reflecting the casualness and diversity of life, allowing every lazy moment to be enjoyed in a comfortable environment. In terms of special materials, the TV wall utilizes mineral paint, and employs an arc design to outline a unique style reminiscent of rippling water, bringing a calm and complete life atmosphere to the space, showcasing the tranquility and purity unique to Japanese style, and allowing the essence of life to re-emerge.
Additionally, there is a unique feature between the living room and kitchen areas where the design team pursues the completeness of every detail. A small frosted glass door separates the area under the existing beams, displaying professional ironworking skills and spray-painting techniques, presenting a wooden grained lattice style, which resonates with the open wooden bookshelf, creating a natural warmth. This not only effectively resolves the sense of oppression from the beams but also facilitates area division and effectively blocks kitchen fumes.
The design team focuses on the essence of living in space, aiming to create a functional and quality living environment through bright lighting and a warm living feel, allowing both public and private areas to fully express the unique flavor of family life, rendering the beauty of daily life in a Japanese atmosphere and cherishing this hard-won beautiful time.
