Singer ANGIE has gained widespread attention for her songwriting and performance of the song "Imagine Us" from the hit series "影后" (The Queen of Drama). At the end of last year, she released her debut album "Caramel Eyes 焦糖眼," which rapidly ascended to the top of the physical sales charts on Books.com. Starting in February, ANGIE has been gradually introducing the album by releasing one new song each month, and she recently launched the title track "Caramel Eyes 焦糖眼." This song is inspired by her insomnia and anxiety, which she transformed into musical notes during the songwriting process, showcasing her self-healing journey. During the music video shoot, the director created a large caramel eye prop, which ANGIE loved. She performed exceptionally well during the filming, completing it swiftly. The new single and MV will officially be available on March 25.

She released the physical version of her debut self-composed album "Caramel Eyes" at the end of last year, which quickly became a double champion on the physical sales chart of 博客來 (Books.com.tw). Starting from the end of February, ANGIE plans to release a new song every month, gradually introducing the songs from the album to everyone. Following last month's "Our Sky," she has released the album's title track "Caramel Eyes" this month. ANGIE stated that this song came together in one go during its creation, perfectly interpreting the core concept of the album, thus becoming the title of the album.

ANGIE's new single "Caramel Eyes" is inspired by her insomnia and anxiety. She mentioned, "Caramel Eyes, I think it describes the color of my eyes and many Asians', but few people describe it this way. More importantly, this color resembles the hues of sunrise, as if I’m awake all night until sunrise; however, looking at it positively, the caramel-colored sunrise is so beautiful in my eyes." On sleepless nights, she translates her complex inner emotions into musical notes through imagination and creation, not only bringing self-healing but also generating one song after another.

At the MV shooting location, the director specially created an oversized caramel eye prop to express the unease and uncertainty depicted in "Caramel Eyes." ANGIE was thrilled to see the prop and quickly immersed herself in the song's atmosphere. During the shooting process, her performance was remarkably precise, with nearly all shots completed in one take, impressing everyone on set. ANGIE immediately noticed the caramel eye prop and asked during filming, "Can I take this eye home?" Initially, everyone thought she was joking, only to realize she was serious. When work was done, she indeed packed up the caramel eye prop and said with a smile, "I really love this eye!"

ANGIE's new single "Caramel Eyes" and its MV will officially launch on March 25th.
