Due to the rampant tactics of fraud, the Nantou County Health Bureau has recently received reports of individuals misusing the name of a physician from a certain traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Nantou City, spreading medical knowledge and charging the public, claiming to provide medication delivery services. The Health Bureau and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association especially urge the public to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to scams.

• The traditional Chinese medicine clinic only provides on-site, in-person consultation services and does not engage in online consultations or medication delivery services.
• Any claim of providing consultation, prescribing medication, and delivering drugs via the internet is illegal.
• According to the Medical Practitioners Act, physicians must examine patients in person to provide treatment; violators will face fines.

The Health Bureau emphasizes that if the public encounters similar suspicious messages, they should immediately verify with the clinic or local health authorities and should not easily provide personal information or make remittances to avoid being scammed. If illegal activities are discovered, they can also report to the police to jointly prevent fraudulent behaviors.
