Developed by Twin-Headed Dragon Studio and published by 2P Games, the narrative-driven card survival RPG "Game of the Sultan" will officially launch on the Steam platform on March 31, 2025, priced at HKD 156 or TWD 666, and will enjoy a 10% discount for the first two weeks of release!
"Game of the Sultan" creates a wonderful world filled with intrigue, desire, and moral choices for players. Here, you will embody a subject of the Sultan, using cards and strategy to influence the fate between the protagonist and others.
In this crazy game controlled by a dark sorcerer, you must draw a "Sultan Card" every seven days to complete the challenges presented. The "Indulgence Card" requires you to unleash your carnal desires, whether the object is a person or something else. The "Luxury Card" forces you to squander your possessions, the "Conquest Card" requires embarking on a dangerous journey, and the "Slaughter Card" demands a life as a sacrifice.
Whether it's a stroke of luck or misfortune, the Sultan forces you to participate in this brutal game on his behalf while pardoning you for any crimes you may commit in fulfilling the card tasks, whether it be murder, adultery, robbery, or hoarding soldiers. However, this does not imply the Sultan’s mercy, as he simply hopes you will perform exceptionally well in this game.
This story intertwines evil, slaughter, and betrayal, but also kindness, loyalty, and hope. You need to carefully assess every character, interact with them in your unique way, and try to uncover their hidden stories, perhaps revealing more secrets beyond this game. Remember, gaining allies is always more advantageous than acquiring another enemy.
"Game of the Sultan" will feature up to 1.1 million words of narrative content, far surpassing the previously released demo, and under the game’s web narrative structure, every NPC, event, and item interaction may lead to entirely different endings.
The game offers over 50 different endings for players to explore. Through each choice, you will shape the fates of every character in the story, using the privileges of Luxury, Conquest, Indulgence, and even Slaughter cards to create unique narratives. Until the end, no one can predict what the outcome will be.
Will you break all Sultan Cards to end the game, escape with your loved one to a foreign land, raise the flag of rebellion to make the Sultan experience the consequences of the cards, or even hope for supernatural powers? Everything depends on your choices.
