The movie "The Investiture of the Gods Part 2: The Battle of Xiqi" has surpassed 10 million at the box office in Taiwan within ten days of its release. This film is directed by Wu Ershan and features a cast that includes Fei Xiang, Huang Bo, and Wu Xingguo. Fei Xiang, who plays King Zhou in the film, praised the movie: "No matter how many times you watch it, it will still be shocking!" At the age of 64, Fei Xiang has not been seen in Taiwan for a long time, but he makes his return to the big screen with "The Investiture of the Gods Part 2," sharing his experiences of collaborating with director Wu Ershan. During the filming, to showcase the character's state, all actors continuously experimented with different ways to fall, how their hands slightly trembled, and how to express emotions through their eyes during rehearsals, "Sometimes Na Ran and I would go to the director's room together, and the three of us would repeatedly discuss the script, refining every shot, striving to give our all in interpreting the characters."

To embody the character of King Zhou in "The Investiture of the Gods Trilogy," Fei Xiang insisted on early morning workouts during filming to maintain a muscular physique. He portrayed a King Zhou that is both righteous and evil, alluring and dark. During the actual filming, to realistically depict King Zhou's weakened state as he succumbed to illness, he undertook extreme body control. He stated: "At that time, I intentionally put myself in a state of extreme dehydration, allowing my face to sink in, and the hollowed eye sockets made me look like a skeleton."

The Investiture of the Gods Part 2

Fei Xiang and Na Ran present a different King Zhou and Daji in "The Investiture of the Gods Part 2." Fei Xiang also mentioned that the director successfully created a complete world of the Shang Dynasty, from Longde Hall and Lutai to Xiqi, with every detail being stunning. He often admired the exquisite embroidery on the costumes or the swords and wine cups in his hands during breaks in filming, finding each prop to be quite sophisticated, hoping for a clear and shocking effect when presented on an IMAX screen. Fei Xiang not only plays King Zhou but also personally provided voice work for "The Investiture of the Gods Part 2" and translated the English subtitles, so he has watched the film multiple times before the final edit. He expressed: "I am extremely familiar with every scene, every minute, and even every frame in the film, but each time I watch it, I am still deeply moved, especially when viewed on IMAX; it’s a completely different experience!”

The movie is still showing in Taiwan.
