Democratic Progressive Party Legislator Chen Pei-yu recently released a video confirming that Premier Su Tseng-chang left the Legislative Yuan only after receiving consent from Han Kuo-yu. This action served to counter criticisms directed at Han Kuo-yu. Recently, the Legislative Yuan came to a standstill due to a standoff between the ruling and opposition parties, during which Han Kuo-yu criticized government officials for their absence and expressed regret. Chen Pei-yu accused Han Kuo-yu of outright lying and questioned his memory. The video features not only Su Tseng-chang and Han Kuo-yu but also includes several other legislators.

DPP legislator Chen Pei-yu released a video on the 26th, showing that Chou Hong-tai, accompanied by DPP caucus leader Ker Chien-ming, inquired about Han Kuo-yu last night and only left after receiving a nod of agreement. The Legislative Yuan was in a standstill yesterday due to confrontations between the ruling and opposition parties, and when the evening meeting resumed, Premier Chou Hong-tai and other cabinet officials had already left. Han Kuo-yu criticized that despite two notifications from the Legislative Yuan, the executive officials still did not attend, expressing his "deep regret." Chen Pei-yu pointed out that Chou Hong-tai confirmed he could leave before actually departing, publicly rebutting Han Kuo-yu's statements. DPP legislators also occupied the speaker's platform to boycott the proceedings yesterday after New Party Deputy Secretary-General Yu Chih-pin entered the Legislative Yuan hall to conduct a live broadcast. The KMT legislators took the opportunity to launch an offensive at the platform, requesting Han Kuo-yu to continue the meeting and, taking advantage of their voting numbers, submitted proposals against the abolition of the death penalty and against martial law for a second reading. Han Kuo-yu subsequently announced the continuation of the general questioning and requested notification of the Premier and cabinet members to attend for inquiries; however, about an hour later, he stated that the executive officials did not arrive as notified, thus could not conduct questioning and ultimately announced the adjournment of the meeting.

Executive Yuan spokesperson Li Hui-chih stated that Chou Hong-tai entered the Legislative Yuan hall at 8:58 AM yesterday morning and left around 12:03 PM during the lunch break. After the break, he re-entered the Legislative Yuan at 2:26 PM, and after the meeting concluded, he bid farewell to Han Kuo-yu and left at 6:15 PM after receiving consent. Li Hui-chih emphasized that the Executive Yuan acted according to the Legislative Yuan's notification and rules, waiting for inquiries within the scheduled meeting time.

Chen Pei-yu exposed a video of the negotiating session behind the hall on social media, pointing out that Chou Hong-tai went to Han Kuo-yu's meeting room at 6 PM, after the statutory meeting time, to confirm whether he could leave. After receiving Han Kuo-yu's approval, Chou Hong-tai led the officials to leave. Chen Pei-yu criticized whether Han Kuo-yu truly forgot the truth of the event, believing he was publicly lying and shifting responsibility to the Executive Yuan to raise doubts. In the video, besides Chou Hong-tai and Han Kuo-yu, there were also appearances of other legislators and the leader of the People’s Party caucus.
