The absence of Executive Yuan Premier 卓榮泰 and his team during the general inquiries has raised questions from opposition parties. Executive Yuan spokesperson 李慧芝 stated that 卓榮泰 entered and exited the legislative chamber according to the notification time of the Legislative Yuan meetings, and left after obtaining the consent of 韓國瑜 following the conclusion of the meeting. The Executive Yuan spokesperson, Li Huizhi, stated regarding a recent meeting of the Legislative Yuan that the accusations against Premier Su Tseng-chang and his administrative team for their absence during the general questioning period are unfounded. Li Huizhi pointed out that Su Tseng-chang arrived at the Legislative Yuan at 8:58 AM and temporarily left during the noon break at 12:03 PM, returning to the venue at 2:26 PM. After the meeting concluded, Su Tseng-chang bid farewell to the Legislative Yuan President and, upon receiving consent, left at 6:15 PM. According to government officials, the administrative team had arrived at the Legislative Yuan for questioning in accordance with the meeting notice by the time the meeting ended. The topics discussed during the meeting included two referendum proposals against the death penalty and martial law, and the administrative team’s departure after the meeting ended was consistent with relevant procedures. Li Huizhi also mentioned that according to the notice from the Legislative Yuan, the Executive Yuan must attend the meeting within the designated time, so leaving after the meeting concluded is in compliance with regulations. She emphasized that since the meeting had not yet entered the questioning phase at that time, Su Tseng-chang's actions fully adhered to the rules of procedure of the Legislative Yuan.
