Kuomintang Taipei Mayor Jiang Wan'an stated in an interview that he will firmly support members of the party and stand with the Kuomintang legislators in Taipei City.

According to the survey by the National Security Research Society, Wang Hongwei's support rate for the recall signatures in the third electoral district of Taipei City reaches 45.3%, with an opposition rate of 45.1%, while 9.6% have yet to express their stance; in the fourth electoral district, Li Yanxiu has a support rate of 46.6% and an opposition rate of 41.3%, with 12.2% not expressing their stance; Xu Qiaoxin in the seventh electoral district has a support rate of 48.8%, an opposition rate of 45.8%, with only 5.4% not expressing their stance. Additionally, the satisfaction survey of the three legislators shows that both the satisfaction and dissatisfaction rate for Li Yanxiu is 37.2%, while Wang Hongwei and Xu Qiaoxin's satisfaction rates are both lower than their dissatisfaction rates, with Wang Hongwei's satisfaction at 37.3% and dissatisfaction at 43.8%; Xu Qiaoxin's satisfaction is only 35.3%, while dissatisfaction reaches as high as 49.8%, indicating that nearly half of the voters are dissatisfied with her performance.

This morning, Jiang Wan'an and Wang Hongwei jointly attended the district chief discussion in Zhongshan District, where he reiterated in an interview, "I will unwaveringly support the Kuomintang members in Taipei City." He praised Wang Hongwei for her concern for local construction and active participation in grassroots activities, which has helped resolve many issues in Zhongshan District, and the city government also expressed gratitude for her assistance. When media questioned the Kuomintang's lottery event being criticized by the green camp as "protecting the recall," Wang Hongwei coldly responded, "This is not a municipal issue," and did not provide a positive response. Regarding the recent issue of recall venues, Jiang Wan'an stated that everyone is very concerned about the recall issue, and whether it is about renting venues or activities organized by the Kuomintang locally, everything is conducted according to regulations. He emphasized repeatedly that all rental regulations apply equally to any applicant.
