He will hold the "True Love Show: Sapphire Grand Theater" concert on May 10 and 11 at the Gaoliu Haiyin Pavilion, where he will share the stage with his disciple Peng Qia Qia. The two have a harmonious relationship. Zheng Jin Yi stated that his usual stern criticism is actually meant to teach Peng Qia Qia, and he is looking forward to this reunion performance.

The "True Love Show: Sapphire Grand Theater" concert in 2025 will be grandly held on May 10 and 11 at the Kaohsiung Dome. This year's theme is "Golden Island Hit Songs Night," inviting many well-known singers from the music industry to participate. For this performance, Cheng Jin-yi, known as the "Genius First Brother," will be performing at the "Sapphire" in Kaohsiung for the first time in his 40-year career. He happily stated, "I used to be too busy at the showrooms in Taipei!" and recalled his performances in Taipei with Zhang Fei and Hu Gua, mentioning a time when he impulsively had a serious conflict with Zhang Fei backstage, even being retorted with, "What does a kid know!"

Cheng Jin-yi mentioned his opportunity to enter the show business, especially thanking his "mentor" Wang Meng-lin and "benefactor" Zhang Fei. Initially, before entering the entertainment industry, he gained attention by participating in a singing competition, and later he was discovered by Wang Meng-lin while performing in Taipei and introduced to the famous "Disco Corner Nightclub." Cheng Jin-yi attracted Zhang Fei's attention with his humorous performance and successfully became his disciple because of a line saying, "My talent is not even three-fifths of yours."

The straightforward Cheng Jin-yi also revealed that back then, he and Zhang Fei had a verbal spat over the slang "people fight for a breath, Buddha fights for a stick of incense." Dissatisfied with Zhang Fei's comment, he retorted with "Buddha fights for a stick of incense," leading to an intense debate where one friend helplessly watched them refuse to back down.

Cheng Jin-yi revealed that at the Sapphire concert, he will be sharing the stage with his "disciple" Peng Qia Qia. Their master-disciple relationship has always been good, and he looks forward to their reunion this time. Peng Qia Qia humorously mentioned at the ticket press conference, "I have hated Cheng Jin-yi for a long time!" Although it was a joke, he also referred to the past when he was criticized by Cheng Jin-yi early in his career. In response, Cheng Jin-yi remarked, "To scold him is actually to teach him; if I teach, it means I like him!" They are used to teasing each other, making their interactions very entertaining.
