His wife, Meng Gengru, had her role reduced in the play "With Evil 2" due to his actions. Huang Zijiang was sentenced to eight months in prison last December and is currently appealing. During the first hearing of the second trial on the 26th, he changed his previous attitude and publicly bowed to the media to apologize.

Huang Ziqiao was accused by multiple women last year due to the Me Too incident. Afterward, he posted several videos revealing the private matters of various artists, but unexpectedly, the incident has not settled down. The prosecution went to his home to gather evidence and unexpectedly discovered multiple underage pornographic videos on his hard drive, leading to strong public condemnation. His wife, Meng Gengru, was also affected by him, with her participating drama "With Evil 2" confirming that some of her scenes were destroyed on the 25th. On the 26th, Huang Ziqiao appeared in court again, and this time his attitude was different from before, as he bowed and apologized in front of the cameras.

Last December, Huang Ziqiao was sentenced to 8 months in prison and fined 100,000 yuan, and the case has been appealed to the second trial. During the hearing at the High Court on the 26th, he appeared in the same outfit but remained silent while answering questions. However, unlike his previous behavior, before getting into a taxi after the court session, he suddenly turned around and bowed to the cameras in apology, continuing for about 5 to 6 seconds before getting back in the car and leaving.

The prosecution discovered that Huang Ziqiao's hard drive contained 2,259 underage pornographic images, and the source of the videos was a forum specializing in voyeurism called "Creative Private Room," where he had been purchasing since August 2017 and continued to do so even after the Me Too incident, with the last video purchased in July 2023. Even more surprising was that he was a senior member of that forum, allowing him to purchase content that was harder to obtain.
