The mainland China influencer "亚亚" Liu Zhenya, suspected of promoting military unification, was required to leave the country within a specified period and has returned to China from Songshan Airport on the evening of the 25th. Before her departure, she insisted on her stance and published a letter titled "A Letter from 亚亚 to Taiwanese Compatriots," claiming that she was merely defending her rights and advocating for peaceful unification. Some believe that her freedom of speech should be protected, while lawyer Lin Zhiqun pointed out that 亚亚 is not a Taiwanese national, and therefore does not fully enjoy that freedom, leaving her supporters speechless. In her letter, 亚亚 expressed her concerns about cross-strait relations and emphasized that her statements were not illegal, feeling wronged.

Ya-Ya has been suspected of advocating for military unification due to her statements, and on the evening of the 25th, she boarded a flight back to China from Songshan Airport. Before leaving Taiwan, Ya-Ya showed no signs of admitting her mistakes; instead, she issued a letter titled "A Letter from Ya-Ya to Taiwanese Compatriots," stating that her expressions were solely to protect her own rights and reiterated her stance on peaceful unification, believing this is the best way forward for both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Although some criticize Ya-Ya’s remarks, there are also supporters who argue that her freedom of speech should be protected. She emphasized that she is not advocating for military unification, and that every word she expressed is an analysis of reality, aimed at reminding everyone to avoid war. She also mentioned her identity as a mother, insisting on not giving up her stance on peaceful unification, stating that unification is not about one side swallowing the other, but about jointly creating a stronger China.

In response to the controversy over the Constitution, Lin Zhiqun quoted clauses from the Constitution to counter the argument, insisting on the distinction between "people" and "nationals," stating that foreigners do not have the right to enjoy freedom of speech in our country. This viewpoint resonated with many Taiwanese people, emphasizing the importance of the rule of law.
