Lin Xin-Kuan had an outstanding performance, scoring 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, setting a new personal season high. He emphasized that the encouragement from his teammates helped him regain confidence and stated that adopting a decisive offensive approach to increase free throw opportunities is an effective way to help the team. Although the Leopards were behind in the first half, they successfully turned the game around through team defense and Lin Xin-Kuan's performance.

The Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL) Taoyuan Pauian Archiland Leopards faced off against the Taipei Taishin Mars in their home court, ultimately winning with a score of 100 to 97, ending their recent five-game losing streak. Local player Lin Hsin-Kuan performed excellently in the game, scoring a season-high 25 points, contributing 11 rebounds, and making 7 out of 10 free throws. Lin Hsin-Kuan, who is 192 cm tall, was the first overall pick in the 2023 T1 Professional Basketball League Draft and is also a member of the men’s 3x3 basketball team that won gold at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Although the Leopards were trailing 56 to 60 at halftime, Lin Hsin-Kuan stood out in the third quarter, scoring 7 points in that period and helping the team effectively defend, limiting the Mars to just 6 points in that quarter, ultimately taking the lead at 82 to 80 by the end of the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, both teams struggled, entering a defensive battle. With 17 seconds left in the game, the Mars' McCullen scored a layup to bring the score to 97 to 98, after which they resorted to a foul strategy, and the Leopards' foreign player Tuba made both of his free throws. The Mars had an offensive opportunity with 11 seconds remaining, but after a timeout, their strategy failed to execute successfully, leading to Ding Sheng-Ju hurriedly taking a shot from beyond the three-point line, which missed, allowing the Leopards to secure the win.

After the game, Lin Hsin-Kuan expressed his happiness, feeling energized, and mentioned that he had been in poor form previously, but the coach and teammates provided him continuous encouragement, and he was finally able to perform well today. He also stated that due to his lower three-point shooting percentage prior, he decided to drive in decisively today to create free throw opportunities, which is one of the ways he can help the team.
