"Golf": Miami Launches LIV Golf's American Tour, Twelve Stars Fully Preparing for the Celebrity Tournament.

讀後心得
In 2025, the LIV Golf League will hold four events in the Asia-Pacific region, before moving to the United States, with the first stop being the Trump Doral Resort in Miami. The spotlight player will be "Chilean kid" Joaquin Niemann, who won several events last year and has also performed well this year in Adelaide and Singapore. He will participate in the Augusta event for the sixth time, hoping for an even better performance. Another highlighted player, Sergio Garcia, has led his team to win multiple team championships and has the chance to challenge for a fourth consecutive victory. Other past champions participating include well-known players such as Jon Rahm and Dustin Johnson.

The LIV League in 2025 will kick off in the Asia-Pacific series in four locations: Riyadh, Adelaide, Hong Kong, and Singapore, followed by a tour in the United States this week, with the first stop at the famous Trump National Doral's Blue Monster course. A total of twelve LIV stars will participate in LIV Golf Miami, preparing for the upcoming Masters.

The pre-tournament focus is on the "Chilean kid" Joaquin Niemann. Last year during this period, he won the LIV Golf Mayakoba and LIV Golf Jeddah, while this year he captured the titles in Adelaide and Singapore in the first season, demonstrating the wisdom of Augusta National Golf Club in granting him a wildcard for two consecutive years.

The twenty-six-year-old Niemann secured his second PGA Tour victory at The Genesis Invitational in early 2022 and decided to join the LIV League in June of that year. Despite almost winning the year-end championship last year, ultimately losing to Spanish star Jon Rahm, he has rejuvenated himself this year, starting a new chapter in the spring.

Despite the PGA Tour suspension, Niemann has participated in eight and ten non-LIV events in the past two years, winning the ISPS Handa Australian Open and the PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers, keeping his current world ranking at eighty-four. Next week, Niemann will visit Augusta for the sixth time, having made the cut successfully in the past four years, with his best finish tied for tenth in 2023. He has participated in twenty-two majors without breaking into the top ten but aims to play four rounds this year.

Sergio Garcia has become one of the highlights of the LIV League. The forty-five-year-old Spanish star has suffered three near-misses in playoffs and won both individual and team titles at LIV Golf Andalucia in his hometown last July, finishing third in the year-end personal rankings. He also claimed two titles at the Hong Kong event last month.

Garcia's team, Fireballs GC, has won team championships consecutively at the Adelaide, Hong Kong, and Singapore events, aiming for a four-peat this week. With the green jacket he earned in 2017, he can return to Augusta every year.

Other past champions of the Masters include Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson, Charl Schwartzel, and Bubba Watson. Additionally, Cameron Smith, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Tyrrell Hatton have qualified through other means.
