Taiwanese female golfer Hsu Huai-Chien performed modestly in the second round of the Augusta Women's Amateur Championship, scoring 73 for a total of 147, resulting in her elimination. She stated that her putting performance was not ideal, but she still enjoyed the competition. In the first two rounds, she made 3 birdies, had 2 bogeys, and 1 double bogey. Despite not advancing, Hsu Huai-Chien looks forward to practicing at Augusta National Golf Club and sharing this experience with her friends. Since the tournament began in 2019, Taiwanese players have been invited to participate each year, with the best performance to date being Lu Hsin-Yu, who finished tied for 5th in 2023.

In a post-match media interview, Hsu stated: "Actually, I performed quite well, but my putting was not ideal. I worked hard to play each shot well over these two days, didn’t give up, and really enjoyed the competition." According to the tournament rules, after the first two rounds, the top 32 players who are below par will advance, and the final round will be held at the Augusta National Golf Club, where even those who did not qualify will have the chance to play a practice round at the club.

The first two rounds of the Augusta Women’s Amateur Championship were held at the Champions Retreat Golf Club. Hsu looks forward to stepping onto the grounds of Augusta National Club and plans to practice with friends, believing it will be an exciting experience. Since the inaugural event in 2019, players from Taiwan have been invited each year, with Lu Hsin-yu being the top performer in 2023, finishing tied for 5th, while Huang Ting-hsuan ranked tied for 22nd, which was also the only year a Taiwanese player advanced.
