Toscanini Taichung Beitun store is officially opened! The area around Taichung Dakeng now has another excellent scenic restaurant to choose from. This chain Italian restaurant from Taoyuan has specially designed a garden restaurant with an exotic flair near the Dakeng scenic area. While dining, I felt a strong sense of familiarity, and upon checking, I discovered that I had visited this place nine years ago, when it was known as Le NINI. Although the decor has been redesigned and the style has changed, the garden environment and dining space remain the same, bringing back nostalgic memories.
Toscanini's signature dishes include classic handmade pizzas, pasta, and risotto, as well as sumptuous set meals, making it an excellent choice for gatherings, birthday celebrations, or dates.
This restaurant is located at the intersection of Section 2 Dongshan Road and Lane 651 of Puzih Road in Taichung Dakeng, right beside the Carton King Creative Park. The restaurant has its own parking lot, and there are also roadside parking spaces nearby, making it very convenient to visit by car.
The restaurant's decor features vibrant colors such as earthy yellow, orange, teal, and deep red, blending Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Turkish styles, showcasing a strong exotic atmosphere.
Interestingly, if you choose a seat on the outer side, the greenery outside is brought indoors through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the entire dining area with natural light.

In terms of dishes, the Golden Sand Taro Millet Balls, priced at 145 NT (plus 10%), was ordered by the red bean and coix sister duo. Its texture is dense and delicate, paired with the rich flavor of salted egg yolk, creating a delightful sweet and savory combination that lingers in the mouth. The outer skin is fried crispy, with chewy millet inside, making it reminiscent of sweet potato balls, much to the delight of the children.
The Margherita pizza is priced at 350 NT (plus 10%). Here, the pizza is handmade and freshly rolled, with the outer crust slightly crispy, and the strong aroma of cheese combined with the flavor of wheat is quite irresistible.
Additionally, the red bean and coix also engaged in a competition among the children to see who could pull theirs longer.
I ordered the Garlic White Wine Clam Pasta, priced at 280 NT (plus 10%), where each strand of pasta absorbed the rich garlic fragrance, and the sweet taste of the sea was quite outstanding. The texture was chewy but not mushy, and the clams were fresh and plump, making it a delicious choice.
Finally, we tasted the German Pork Knuckle, priced at 630 NT (plus 10%), with its skin roasted to a golden crisp. A gentle bite produced a satisfying crunch, and the outer crispiness combined perfectly with the firm meat, enhanced by the homemade honey mustard sauce and sauerkraut, creating a rich flavor. It was truly a delightful dining experience.

Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and thoughtfully prepared drawing paper and colored pencils, ensuring we will definitely return next time.
