Located in the Jia Yi Shanyangzi Food Base, "初物鐵板燒鍋物" (Chuwu Teppanyaki Hot Pot) will open in May 2024, making it the first Fine Dining restaurant in the area, specializing in high-end teppanyaki art cuisine. Led by the emerging chef 毛乃康 (Mao Naikang) and a young team, the restaurant carefully selects premium seafood and local ingredients, blending Japanese, French, and Taiwanese flavors to impress diners' palates. A brand new menu will be launched in spring 2025, continuing to surprise guests. The restaurant features two floors, with an elegant environment suitable for family gatherings and business meetings, with prices starting from $1,480 for lunch and $2,080 for dinner, offering a unique dining experience.

Located in the Jiayi Shanyangzi Food Base Park, "Chuwu Teppanyaki Hot Pot" is set to open in May 2024 as the first high-end restaurant in Jiayi, showcasing top-tier teppanyaki cuisine. Young chef Mao Naikang will lead his team to present an artistic approach to cooking, using teppanyaki methods to select the finest live seafood and local ingredients, blending Japanese, French, and Taiwanese culinary techniques to highlight the original flavors and textures of the ingredients. In the spring of 2025, the restaurant will launch a brand-new menu, regularly changing dishes to continuously provide diners with delightful dining experiences!

The spring menu at Chuwu Teppanyaki Hot Pot features seasonal ingredients such as Australian water prawns, live abalone, white asparagus, and white pomfret, offering diners an exotic culinary experience in spring and creating wonderful dining memories!

With chef Mao Naikang personally at the helm, the restaurant offers unique insights into both Japanese and French cuisines. Mao Naikang's Michelin-star teppanyaki dishes will return to the essence of the ingredients, with every detail from the decor to the selection of tableware reflecting the chef's dedication.

    • Chef's recommended appetizer: Inspired by the fresh ingredients of the day, the daily changing dishes surprise regulars with freshness and novelty.
    • Soup: White pomfret vermicelli soup, inspired by the chef's initial days, with a broth made from homemade chicken stock, clam broth, and fish bone broth.
    • Hot appetizer: Grilled chicken wings with homemade chicken liver butter, presenting a unique texture.
    • Seafood: Abalone grilled in bamboo leaves, paired with Saikyo miso sauce, showcasing exquisite flavors from both mountain and sea.
