Chushi Teppanyaki will open in May 2024 at the Jiayi Shanyangzi Food Base, becoming the first Fine Dining restaurant in the area. Led by Chef Mao Naikang, the young team focuses on top-tier teppanyaki culinary art, using live seafood and local ingredients, blending Japanese, French, and Taiwanese flavors. A brand-new menu will be launched in Spring 2025, bringing surprises and freshness to diners. The restaurant space is divided into two levels; the first floor is comfortable and suitable for family gatherings, while the second floor is focused on high-end teppanyaki, providing a tranquil dining environment perfect for business meetings. Reservation is required, and lunch and dinner set menu prices start from $1,480.
Located in the Shanyangzi Food Base Park in Chiayi, "Chuwu Teppanyaki Hot Pot" will officially open in May 2024, becoming Chiayi's first restaurant focused on Fine Dining, specializing in high-end teppanyaki culinary arts. The young chef Mao Naikang leads his culinary team, selecting high-quality live seafood and local ingredients. He combines Japanese, French, and Taiwanese cooking techniques to showcase the most original flavors of the ingredients through superb cooking skills. A brand new spring menu will be introduced in 2025, with new dishes launched regularly to continuously surprise diners.
The current spring menu includes Australian sea cucumbers, live abalone, white asparagus, and white pomfret, offering diners a seasonal limited exotic dining experience that brings beautiful spring memories.
Chef Mao Naikang, with his unique creativity and deep understanding of Japanese and French cuisine, takes Michelin teppanyaki to the extreme. He adheres to the philosophy of "returning to the初心 of the ingredients," ensuring that every detail, from the design of the restaurant to the vessels for the ingredients, reflects respect and taste for the ingredients.
