As the acquisition of Da Run Fa by Quanlian enters its third year, the Chairman of Quanlian announced today that 20 "Da Run Fa" hypermarkets across Taiwan will be renamed "Da Quan Lian," while also transforming into a "one-stop shopping community department store." The new brand logo has also been revealed, and the brand transition is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year, so everyone can look forward to it!

"Da Run Fa" was established in 1997 by the Runtai Group and at its peak had 24 branches across Taiwan. In October 2021, Quanlian acquired Da Run Fa for 11.5 billion TWD, and in July 2022, the Fair Trade Commission approved the acquisition. Friends who often shop at "Da Run Fa" should take note! Quanlian announced today (28th) that the "Da Run Fa" hypermarkets will be renamed "Da Quan Lian" in the third quarter of this year. Quanlian's marketing associate mentioned that the concept of the name "Da Quan Lian" is to find commonalities between the two brands, adhering to the principle of "the more direct, the easier to remember." The new brand logo cleverly combines classic elements from both companies, allowing consumers to feel innovative while still retaining a sense of familiarity.

"Da Run Fa" will upgrade to "Da Quan Lian" in the third quarter, aiming to create a one-stop shopping community department store. In the future, the store will integrate dining, pharmacy, footwear, and a variety of products together, and will offer a diverse range of fresh and cooked foods, electronics, imported goods, and alcoholic beverages. It will also hold various experiential activities, allowing customers to easily purchase household necessities while saving expenses!
