Nagase Ren, a member of the Japanese boy band King & Prince, held two fan meetings in Taiwan recently. After the events, he shared his true self offstage, revealing that he often experiences insecurities about his appearance and doesn't even know how to fry an egg. He humorously remarked, "So that's why an egg becomes hard when heated," which made the media laugh.

Nagase Ren was voted the champion of the "National Treasure Handsome Guy Ranking" by a women's fashion magazine in 2020, with over 450,000 votes, earning the title of "National Treasure Beauty." He is no stranger to such compliments and is quite confident in his nose and facial features, but he admitted that he occasionally worries about having uneven eyes.

In the drama, he portrays a "life idiot" from a wealthy family, and he candidly admitted that he is not skilled in cooking, even struggling to fry an egg, often producing unappetizing dishes. However, he recently took on the endorsement for dumplings and has learned how to fry them, which he is pleased about.

When Nagase Ren visited Taiwan for the first time, he found everything around him very fresh; the abundance of scooters on the streets and the various Chinese character signs surprised him. He mentioned, "I felt the enthusiasm from the fans at the meet-and-greet, which excited me and made me want to hype up with the fans."

Nagase Ren mentioned that if he has some free time, he would like to visit the night market and hopes to start with some basic introductory places, planning to buy some souvenirs. He also took the time to thank the enthusiastic feedback from the community about his pre-recorded appearance on the Spring Festival special at the beginning of the year and looks forward to returning to Taiwan as King & Prince to meet everyone there.
