In order to counter the wave of recall efforts, KMT legislator Hsu Chiao-hsin recently attended a campaign event in Taichung but accidentally got into a black sedan parked illegally on a zebra crossing. She was subsequently accused by an influencer that the driver of the car is an assistant to former Taipei City Councilor Tsai Bi-ru from the People First Party. This incident sparked more allegations, with a DPP Taipei City councilor revealing that as early as 2020, Hsu Chiao-hsin had "entered with a gun", hoping Ko Wen-je would run for president, and expressed that she would fully support that decision, which officials have also confirmed as internal news. In response, Hsu Chiao-hsin stated that she is willing to confront these allegations to uncover the truth.

During the event, Hsu Chiao-hsin appealed: "Friends in Taipei, please help me out and gather (anti-recall) votes." She went south to Taichung to shake hands and interact with local constituents, but became embroiled in the parking controversy. Although she clarified the situation, the impact was limited. The councilor indicated that Hsu Chiao-hsin had approached Ko Wen-je with her assistant in the previous election, urging him to run for president and expressed her full support. Hsu Chiao-hsin subsequently issued a statement categorically denying these assertions, emphasizing that this is merely a fabrication and lie by Hsu Shuhua, and stated that verification can be sought from any members of the People First Party. She further declared that if Ko Wen-je were to be released from custody, she would be willing to confront him and Hsu Shuhua face-to-face to examine the truth of the allegations. Meanwhile, the influencer also exposed new information, revealing that Hsu Chiao-hsin had prepared a batch of steam eye masks for voters, packaged in red with "Six-Star Legislator" printed on them, which are ready for shipment. Hsu Chiao-hsin had previously lamented the difficulties of life and now faces new challenges.
