During the holiday period, the group "Wenshan Tui Bao," aiming to oust Lai Shih-Pao, set up a booth outside Wanxing Elementary School. Despite the rain, many citizens still signed the petition. The group's leader, Gao Li Cai, pointed out that many people have hopes for change, and even supporters from the pan-blue camp have started to express their dissatisfaction with Lai Shih-Pao. The honorary chairperson of the parents' association, Pang Feng-Qin, urged parents to awaken; if they do not step up, the hard-earned foundation could collapse. Former National Assembly representative Hong Hsiu-Ju attended to interfere, yet the petition team remained determined to continue gathering signatures.

Despite the fine rain during the Qingming Festival, people kept coming to sign the petition. The honorary president of the local elementary school parents' association was invited to speak, calling on parents to actively awaken; otherwise, the hard-won foundation might face collapse.

The leader of the recall group "Wenshan Retreat Bao," Gao Lichai, stated, "We can indeed feel that everyone has expectations for change, and even people from the pan-blue camp have started to speak out, believing that Lai Shih-Pao's performance is inadequate." Although recalling a DPP legislator is quite difficult in a stronghold of the blue camp, a loosening trend is already emerging, with more and more people responding, including the honorary president of the local elementary school parents' association joining the ranks of "recalling Lai Shih-Pao"!

The honorary president of Lixing Elementary School's parents' association, Pang Fengqin, said, "Our parents must awaken. If we do not stand up and do these things, the hard-won foundation, economy, and culture may collapse. How will my child face such a future?"

Human rights workers shared Lee Ming-Che's experience, emphasizing that during his arrest by China, Lai Shih-Pao's assistant was found to be a collaborator with China, questioning whether Lai Shih-Pao is still suitable to serve as a legislator.

"Wenshan Retreat Bao" continued the petition over the weekend. Lee Ming-Che, who was previously imprisoned by China, stood up for the recall group to share his personal pain. Additionally, Lee Yan-Rong, who had previously participated in the recall of Hsieh Kuo-Liang, also appeared to share her experience; however, uninvited disruptors showed up at the scene.

A former National Assembly representative appeared and attempted to disrupt the event. The volunteers recognized her and stated that they would respect her but hope that she would not interfere with the public's petitioning activities. Despite facing abuse, threats, and disruptions, the recall group remains undaunted and will continue to push forward with their goals!
