During the Qingming holiday period, the group "Wenshan Tui Bao" advocating for the recall of Lai Shih-Pao set up a booth outside Wanxing Elementary School in Wenshan District. Despite the rain, they still attracted public signatures for their petition. The group leader, Gao Li Cai, stated that there is a strong desire for change among the public, particularly among supporters of the Kuomintang, where voices in favor of the recall are also emerging. The honorary president of the parent association at Lixing Elementary School, Pang Fengqin, urged parents to awaken; if they do not take action, the hard-won foundation may collapse. Li Mingzhe, who was previously detained in China, also supported this initiative and shared his experiences. Despite facing obstacles from former national representative Hong Xiujun, the recall group insisted on continuing their activities.

The leader of the group, Gao Li Cai, expressed that there is a strong desire for change among the public, with even voters from the pan-blue camp beginning to speak out, believing that Lai Shih-Bao has not made any real contributions. Although it is quite difficult to impeach a blue camp legislator in a stronghold of the blue camp, there are already clear signs of loosening. Many citizens are responding, including the honorary president of the local elementary school’s parent association, who shouted "Impeach Lai Shih-Bao!"

The honorary president of the Parents' Association at Lixing Elementary School, Pang Feng-Qin, emphasized that parents of fifth and sixth graders must awaken; if they do not take action now, the foundation, economy, and culture we have built will be destroyed. She worries that future children will face overcrowding and competition for resources.

Human rights activist Li Ming-Zhe criticized Lai Shih-Bao, pointing out that during his detention in China, his assistant was actually a collaborator with the Chinese, questioning whether Lai Shih-Bao is still fit to serve as a legislator.

"Wenshan TuiBao" continued its signature collection activities during the long holiday. Li Ming-Zhe, who was previously detained by China, strongly supports the group and shared his past personal experiences. Experienced activist Li Yan-Rong also joined in the sharing but there were unexpected disruptors present. Volunteers discovered that former National Representative Hong Xiu-Ju was making a scene at the venue, having previously disrupted an event at National Chengchi University and currently targeting the impeachment group. Gao Li Cai noted that although she arrived at 10 AM, as long as there is no interference with the public signing, the group would choose to respect her. Despite facing insults, threats, or disruptions, the group remains undeterred and continues to advance their activities.
