Wei went to the Taoyuan Second District in the afternoon to campaign, calling on the public to support the recall of Tu Quanjin, and expressing dissatisfaction with the Blue camp, criticizing their refusal to attend the president's inauguration ceremony while catering to China. He pointed out that each legislator spends about 10 million annually, yet goes to China to belittle Taiwan, and such legislators cannot be accepted.

Political worker Zhou Xuan analyzed that if Tu Quanjin's recall is successful, the likelihood of recalling Fu Kunqi, Wang Hongwei, and Xu Qiaoxin will also increase. He urged everyone to express their support through action.

The nationwide recall movement is continuing in its second phase. C.C. Wei seized the opportunity during the Qingming holiday to go to the Taoyuan Second District to campaign, directing his criticism at the Communist Party.

The leader of the recall movement against Xu Qiaoxin, C.C. Wei, stated: “In Taiwan, everyone is seen as pro-independence in the eyes of the CCP. They even take away your territory and belittle our status; how can we accept such a situation?”

He further criticized Blue camp legislators for undermining national dignity, stating that the people will never accept such behavior.

Political worker Zhou Xuan added that there are three major benefits to recalling Tu Quanjin: First, it prevents unprofessional legislators from continuing in office; second, it avoids the spread of bad ideas in the Legislative Yuan; and third, recalling Tu Quanjin also targets Fu Kunqi.
