The founder of UMC,曹興誠, recently spoke in Taoyuan, calling on the public to recall legislator 涂權吉. He criticized the blue camp legislators for refusing to attend the presidential inauguration while bowing down to align with China, pointing out that legislators who collude with China while spending millions of taxpayer money every year are unacceptable. Political worker 周軒 analyzed that if 涂權吉 can be recalled, other blue camp legislators such as 傅崐萁, 王鴻薇, and 徐巧芯 would also face the risk of being recalled. As of now, the second phase of the petition has surpassed 20,000 signatures, and the mobilization continues to heat up.
UMC founder Charles C.Y. Kao went to the Taoyuan Second District in the afternoon to give a speech, urging the public to support the recall of Tu Chuan-chi. He expressed strong dissatisfaction with the blue camp's refusal to participate in the presidential inauguration ceremony and accused them of ingratiating themselves with China. He mentioned that each legislator costs the citizens about 10 million NTD a year, yet they humbly perform before China, which is unacceptable. Political worker Zhou Xuan also analyzed that if Tu Chuan-chi could be successfully recalled, Fu Kun-chi, Wang Hong-wei, and Hsu Chiao-hsin would also have a great chance of being recalled, calling on everyone to express their support through action. The large-scale recall efforts across Taiwan are progressing, and Charles C.Y. Kao took advantage of the Qingming holiday to launch a speaking campaign in the Taoyuan Second District targeting the Communist Party.
Charles C.Y. Kao stated, "In Taiwan, everyone is seen as pro-independence in the eyes of the CCP. China has taken away our territory, yet it has reduced us to beggars; this situation is unacceptable." He also criticized Beijing's actions for reversing the truth and sternly condemned the blue camp legislators for belittling the national dignity, emphasizing that the citizens will not tolerate this.
He bluntly stated that the blue camp's refusal to attend President Lai's inauguration ceremony but running to Beijing to please China is like a servant meeting their master. He further criticized Wang Hong-wei for belittling herself on mainland Chinese CCTV, afraid to refer to Tsai Ing-wen as president, which damages national dignity. He emphasized that the citizens' budget of tens of millions spent on legislators, who humbly treat the Republic of China this way, absolutely cannot continue.
Zhou Xuan stated, "Recalling Tu Chuan-chi will have three main benefits: first, it will remove unprofessional legislators; second, it will eliminate the negative influence of improper guidance on the next generation in the Legislative Yuan; and finally, it will directly impact Fu Kun-chi's status." So far, the second stage of the petition has exceeded 20,000 signatures, reaching 50% of the target, but time is very pressing.
Rick, the leader of the recall campaign against Tu Chuan-chi, pointed out that everyone gathered here out of love for Taiwan and does not want these legislators who assist China to destroy their homeland. Coincidentally, good news has also come from the recall of Hong Meng-kai, with a large number of petitions received recently; the recall team continues to work hard, hoping to collect more supporting signatures.
