During the Dajia Mazu pilgrimage event, as the palanquin passed the intersection of Guangming Road and Shuntian Road, a man with the surname Huang, a member of the Maitreya group, attempted to clear the way but got into a conflict with a group of men in white. As a result, Huang was attacked by a man in white with a helmet. Although the police quickly arrived at the scene, no fighting or other illegal activities were observed. Huang stated that he would not pursue legal responsibility, claiming the incident was a dispute caused by pushing. The police are currently investigating the man in white involved in the case and will impose penalties according to the Social Order Maintenance Act.

On the night of the fourth day of the Dajia Mazu pilgrimage event, a conflict occurred at the intersection of Guangming Road and Shuntian Road in the Dajia District. A man wearing white entered the procession and attacked a member of the Maitreya group with a helmet, while this 35-year-old man named Huang was attempting to clear the way for the palanquin.

According to the Dajia Police Station, the incident happened at 11 PM, when members of the Maitreya group were creating a path for the palanquin, resulting in a push-and-pull with another group. Huang was attacked with a helmet by the man in white during the conflict, but no obvious injuries were reported.

Upon receiving the report, the police immediately activated a rapid response mechanism, dispatching patrol and investigation teams to the scene, where they did not find any fighting or other illegal activities. Preliminary investigations indicated that the push-and-pull was caused by the large crowd, and the conflict was described as a dispute stemming from drunk behavior. Huang does not intend to pursue legal action or file a complaint.

The police are continuing to investigate the man in white who participated in the incident and will impose legal penalties based on the Social Order Maintenance Act.
