The New Taipei City Fire Department received a report tonight that a person is suspected to have fallen onto the tracks at Banqiao Fuzhong MRT Station. Upon inspection, it was found that a man no longer has breath or heartbeat, and rescue efforts are currently underway.

The New Taipei City Fire Department announced tonight that at 6:55 PM, they received a report from the Taipei MRT Operation Control Center indicating that a suspected person had fallen onto the tracks at Banqiao Fuzhong Metro Station. Upon sending personnel to the scene, it was confirmed that a man had fallen onto the tracks and was showing no signs of breathing or heartbeat. Efforts are currently underway to assist in his rescue.
