Japanese boy band King & Prince member 永瀬廉 recently held two fan meetings in Taiwan, during which he shared his true self. He admitted to having anxiety about his appearance and even confessed that he can't fry an egg, but he felt pleasantly surprised to be awarded the title of "National Treasure-Level Handsome Guy" in a magazine poll by ViVi. He looks forward to the possibility of holding concerts in Taiwan as a group in the future and feels excited about the enthusiastic fans in Taiwan. He also hopes to have time to explore night markets and buy souvenirs.

Ren Nagase, a member of the Japanese boy band King & Prince, recently held two fan meet-and-greet events in Taiwan. After the events, he shared his true self with the media. He revealed that he sometimes feels anxious about his appearance and mentioned that he is very lacking in cooking skills, even unable to fry an egg. He humorously noted, "I didn’t know that heating an egg makes it hard," which made the media present burst into laughter. Ren Nagase ranked first in the "National Treasure-Level Handsome Guy Ranking" in a women's fashion magazine poll in 2020, with a total of over 450,000 votes, setting a record. As a result, he earned the title of "National Treasure-Level Beautiful Face." He is humble about the compliments from the outside world; although he is often praised for his nose and facial contour, he admits that he sometimes feels troubled about his appearance, such as recently being bothered by the issue of uneven eyes.

When discussing his starring role in the series "It's Difficult to Love a Rich Man," he plays a "life idiot" from a wealthy family. In real life, he told everyone about his incompetence in cooking, even unable to fry a simple egg, and he lacks motivation to learn, often producing "dark cuisine." However, he recently accepted an endorsement for dumplings, stating that he has learned to fry dumplings and is quite satisfied with that.

Ren Nagase, who visited Taiwan for the first time, found everything here very fresh. Whether it’s the scenes on the road or in the cars, like the motorcycles on the streets and various Chinese signs, all made him feel astonished. He also mentioned that feeling the enthusiasm of the fans during the meet-and-greet made him even more excited, wanting to vibe with the fans and see who could be more passionate.

Ren Nagase expressed that if he has some free time, he would like to visit the night market, hoping to choose some basic introductory places, and plans to buy souvenirs to explore more in-depth later on. He finally mentioned that earlier this year, he participated in a New Year’s Eve special program via pre-recording and saw the enthusiastic response on social media. He hopes to hold a concert in Taiwan under the name of King & Prince in the future, stating, "It’s no longer about everyone coming to Japan to see us, but us coming to Taiwan to meet everyone."
