Before the game, Zhu Yu-Hsien had 998 hits, and after hitting a double in his second at-bat, he reached 999 hits, followed by a home run in the fifth inning to achieve his 1,000th hit. Zhu Yu-Hsien is 33 years old and was selected in the 7th round of the 2015 draft by Lamigo Monkeys. To date, he has played 931 games in the Chinese Professional Baseball League, accumulating 1,000 hits, 170 home runs, and 653 RBIs.

Before the game, Zhu Yuxian had 998 hits, and in his second at-bat, he hit a double off the Guardians' starting pitcher, Li Dongming, bringing in 1 RBI and successfully achieving his career's 999th hit. In the fifth inning, he hit a home run off You Tingwei, marking his career's 1,000th hit.
The last player to reach 1,000 hits was Lin Zhiping, and the only player to achieve this milestone with a home run was Zhang Zhihao from the Brothers, who accomplished this feat on May 16, 2020.
The 33-year-old Zhu Yuxian was selected by Lamigo Monkeys (the predecessor of Rakuten Monkeys) in the 2015 draft. Over his 10-year career in the CPBL, he has participated in 931 games, accumulating 1,000 hits, 170 home runs, and 653 RBIs.
