Zhu Yuxian of Weichuan Dragons reached a significant career milestone during the game against Fubon Guardians, successfully hitting his 1,000th hit and 170th home run, becoming the 30th member of the "1,000 Hits Club" in the CPBL. In the game, he first hit a double, and then in the fifth inning, he hit a home run. Zhu Yuxian is 33 years old this year, and since being drafted in 2015, he has played 931 games in the CPBL, accumulating 1,000 hits, 170 home runs, and 653 RBIs.

Wei-Chuan Dragons' heavy hitter, Chu Yu-Hsien, reached an important career milestone today (the 5th) in the game against Fubon Guardians, successfully completing his goal of 1,000 hits with a home run, while also recording his 170th career home run, becoming the 30th member of the "1,000 Hits Club" in the history of the CPBL.

Before the game, Chu Yu-Hsien had a hit count of 998. In his second at-bat, he hit a double off the Guardian's starting pitcher Lee Dong-Ming, bringing in 1 RBI and achieving his 999th hit. Then, in the fifth inning, facing Yao Ting-Wei, he hit a home run to reach his 1,000th hit.

The most recent player to achieve the 1,000 hits milestone was Lin Chih-Ping, while the last player to reach 1,000 hits through a home run was the Brothers' Zhang Zhi-Hao, who accomplished this milestone with a two-run homer on May 16, 2020.

Chu Yu-Hsien, 33 years old, was selected in the 7th round of the 2015 draft by Lamigo Monkeys (the predecessor of Rakuten Monkeys). Throughout his 10-year career in the CPBL, including today's game, he has played in 931 games, accumulating 1,000 hits, 170 home runs, and 653 RBIs.
