The Chinese Professional Baseball League regular season was held on the 5th at Tianmu Baseball Stadium, where Fubon Guardians faced off against Wei Chuan Dragons. In the bottom of the second inning, Wei Chuan Dragons' Zhu Yuxian hit a double, helping a runner score. This was also his 999th hit of his professional career.
