The AI robot ChatGPT has become a valuable assistant for many people, recently enhancing its image generation feature "Ghibli Style," sparking heated discussions. However, many mistakenly downloaded the pirated version "ChatGTP," and only after payment did they realize it could not generate images.
The scenes of arguments between the Legislative Yuan Chairman and lawmakers, as well as the widely popular Olympic Uncle internet meme, can be transformed into Ghibli style through the AI robot ChatGPT. Since its launch, it has become a helpful tool for many in their work and daily lives. However, some people downloaded the similarly named "ChatGTP," only to find that payment was required to use it, and after paying, the functionalities were far from those of the official version. Some users left one-star reviews, stating that the service soon demanded payment, and mentioned that the waiting time for image conversion was excessively long, ultimately resulting in no images being generated at all.
A U.S. tech website previously reminded users of six key points to identify fake applications, including:
- Check the developer's name
- Look at user reviews
- Examine application permissions
- Check for subtle errors in the logo and name
- View download numbers
- Confirm if it's the latest version
Fake applications often do not update and may collect users' personal information, leading to risks of data leakage.
