The AI robot ChatGPT recently launched a popular "Ghibli-style" image generation feature, becoming a helpful tool for many. However, many users downloaded a pirated app called "ChatGTP," and after paying, found that it could not generate images, even receiving negative reviews. To avoid such counterfeit apps, technology websites remind users to check the developer name, user reviews, app permissions, and logo details, and to ensure the download count and version are the latest, in order to prevent personal data leakage.

The AI robot ChatGPT has gradually become a valuable assistant in the daily work of many people, and its image generation feature "Ghibli style" has recently attracted widespread attention. The scenes of the Legislative Yuan Speaker and lawmakers arguing, as well as the widely circulated Olympic Uncle internet meme, are all presented in Ghibli style, relying on the assistance of the AI robot ChatGPT for their creation. Since its launch, it has become a helpful tool in the lives of many, but the similarly named "ChatGTP" has disappointed numerous users—many were shocked to discover after downloading that payment was required to use it, and the functions after payment differed significantly from the official version, resulting in a large number of one-star ratings, with users stating that after sending images and waiting a long time, no images were generated.

American technology websites have mentioned six points to help identify fake applications, including checking the developer name, viewing user reviews, checking application permissions, noting subtle differences in logos and names, looking at download numbers, and finally confirming if it is the latest version. This is because such fake applications are not frequently updated and may collect users' personal information, increasing the risk of data leaks.
