This was his first visit to Taiwan, and he felt the enthusiasm of the fans, hoping to hold a concert in Taiwan in the future under the name of King & Prince. He also mentioned his desire to visit night markets during his free time to experience Taiwanese culture.

Recently, Nagase Ren, a member of the Japanese boy band King & Prince, held two fan meetings in Taiwan. After the events, he participated in an interview where he shared his true self offstage. He mentioned that he also experiences appearance anxiety and humorously remarked that he is completely clueless in the kitchen, unable to even fry an egg, jokingly saying, "I didn't know that heating an egg makes it hard," which amused the media present, showcasing his approachable and humble personality.

Nagase Ren won the title of "National Treasure-Level Handsome Guy" in a women's fashion magazine's ranking in 2020, receiving over 450,000 votes and setting a record. Thus, he earned the title of "National Treasure-Level Godly Face." He candidly admitted that he is not unfamiliar with such compliments and feels confident about the lines of his nose and profile but also confessed to having appearance anxiety: "Recently, I’ve been a bit concerned that my eyes seem uneven, totally unaware of the reason."

In the drama series "It’s Tough to be in a Relationship with a Rich Young Master," he plays a "life idiot" from a wealthy family. He stated that his skills in the kitchen are poor, as he can't even fry a basic egg and has no motivation to learn, resulting in him often making horrendous dishes. However, he recently took on a dumpling endorsement and mentioned that he has learned to fry dumplings, which he feels quite satisfied about.

Experiencing Taiwan for the first time, Nagase Ren felt fresh right after he got off the plane, as everything around him, whether on the street or in the car, was filled with things he had never seen before, including scooters on the street and various Chinese character signs. He felt the fans' enthusiasm during the meeting and said that it should be about making everyone excited, but in reality, it was the fans' enthusiasm that excited him even more, making him want to compete with them to see who could get more hyped.

He also expressed a desire to visit the night market, hoping to experience some basic options first and, if time allows, to buy some souvenirs, with the intention of exploring more deeply in the future. Lastly, he mentioned participating in a New Year’s Eve special program earlier this year via pre-recording and saw the enthusiastic reactions on social media. He hopes that one day, King & Prince will come to Taiwan for a concert, stating, "It won't be everyone going to Japan to see us, but rather us coming to Taiwan to see everyone."
