It has won the admiration of many film fans with its eerie horror atmosphere and unique Gothic aesthetics. Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård once again challenges the portrayal of Count Orlok in this film, where in a key scene he must coexist with mice and maggots in a narrow, dark environment after waking up in a coffin. He recalls, "The mice and maggots in the coffin were real. The special contact lenses I was wearing made me nearly blind, and I could only focus on managing my expressions, as I had to maintain the expression at the moment the coffin opened. Unexpectedly, a mouse crawled up my forehead, and I was very worried it might bite my nose."
