Yoon Chan-young plays the character "Yeong-joo" in the Korean drama "Dr. Romantic 2," who was once saved by the female lead Se-yook (Park Eun-bin) and unconditionally supports all her decisions. Since its premiere, the drama has been full of discussions, with Park Eun-bin's wild acting stunning the audience. The plot gradually shifts from a revenge medical drama to a suspenseful murder thriller, leaving viewers feeling spine-chilling. Although Yeong-joo pretends to complain on the surface, he is determined to protect Se-yook from within, even helping to clean up the scene after she committed murder. In contrast to Yeong-joo is the anesthesiologist Hyun-ho (Park Byung-eun), who provides rational support when Se-yook loses control, becoming one of the characters with the deepest moral dilemmas in the drama. Park Eun-bin plays the doctor "Shiyu," who attempts a mad performance for the first time, frightening the audience. The storyline begins as a revenge medical drama but gradually transforms into a "murder mystery," leading many viewers to express that "they can't sleep at all" after watching! Shiyu's character is chilling, and her behavioral patterns completely subvert the traditional image of a female lead. What is most surprising is that Shiyu plays classical music while handling corpses, creating a strange atmosphere that blends elegance and horror, infusing the entire drama with a strong sense of contrast. In a significant scene, Shiyu hums classical music at a bloody crime scene while calmly burying a body in the mountains, presenting a visually eerie yet beautifully uncanny image that captivates the audience's eyes.

This drama not only features main characters like Park Eun-bin and Seo Hyun-kyu, but also invites several talented actors to play supporting roles. Yin Canrong's role as "Yongzhu" has sparked discussions among netizens because he was saved by Shiyu, making him the only light in her life. While he outwardly complains incessantly, he unconditionally supports all of Shiyu's decisions. After Shiyu commits a crime, Yongzhu even goes so far as to strip and help her clean the scene. Although he says, "You're crazy," he secretly resolves that "only I can protect you." In an interview, Yin Canrong stated that his character relies on Shiyu like "a little bird chasing its mother" and will help with the corpse as he would with "a cockroach at home." When Shiyu casually asks, "Do you like me?" Yongzhu immediately responds with a wronged expression, "Yeah, don't you like me?" This innocent reaction makes the audience even more eager to see the development between the two.

In comparison to Yongzhu's emotional and impulsive nature, Park Byeong-eun's character, the anesthesiologist "Hyun-ho," serves as Shiyu's last bastion of reason. Not only does he perfectly assist Shiyu in every illegal surgery, but he also timely prevents or cleans up when she is about to lose control. Park Byeong-eun, as Park Eun-bin's best partner, is the "kindest yet most contradictory" character; he admires Shiyu's ability to save lives while having to assist her in various illegal procedures; he wants to protect her from harm but also tacitly approves of her murderous actions. This deep moral conflict makes Hyun-ho one of the most complex characters in the drama.
