The movie "Only You Can Love Me When You're Sick" held a "Super Sick One-Day Store Manager" event at the Xinyi Vieshow Cinemas in Taipei, featuring actors Jiang Qi, Liu Xiufu, and Huang Guanzhi. Not only were they enthusiastically selling tickets on-site, but there was also a "Send Tree Pay" slapping activity that attracted audience participation. Jiang Qi humorously responded to audience requests; Liu Xiufu revealed that he instinctively tried to block slaps while filming, and Huang Guanzhi mentioned that he felt willing to get hit for the role. Both Jiang Qi and Liu Xiufu expressed joy over the movie's box office performance, especially since Liu Xiufu's other movie "Sharp Heart, Bone-Cutting" is about to be released, hoping for mutual promotion between the two films. When a fan requested to recreate a scene from the movie poster and hoped to be slapped a few more times, Jiang Qi humorously responded, "Just like the line from the movie's character Ye, 'It was his request!'"

Although Jiang Qi had never filmed a slapping scene before, he instinctively watched Liu Xiufu block Ding Ning’s slap on set. Huang Guanzhi, being the one with the most filming experience, mentioned that due to the needs of the storyline, he was slapped 4 or 5 times and stated that he was very willing to endure the slaps for his character.
