The movie "GIVEN: The Future Gift - Going to the Beach" premiered in Taiwan, attracting a large audience and selling out tickets instantly. The film received positive reviews and set a new box office record for the series, dominating the independent theater charts for seven consecutive weeks. Voice actor Yano Shogo expressed his feelings about growing alongside his character Mafuyu and mentioned that he felt both happy and slightly sad about the series coming to an end. Before the premiere, a special 25-minute interview video was screened, reflecting on the characters and storyline, which deeply moved the fans.

“GIVEN: The Future Given to Us - The Movie: To the Beach” has set a new record for the number of theater screenings in the series. A special interview video was shown before the screening, lasting 25 minutes, available only in the first week, where a voice cast including Takuma Yamano, Yuma Uchida, and five others reviewed the series' story, sharing their journey of portraying the characters and their heartfelt gratitude to the fans.

Takuma Yamano discussed his emotional connection to the character, expressing that he could feel an emotional resonance with Mafuyu, especially during moments elicited by music. He is grateful to be part of this work, marking his debut as the main character. Although he felt some sadness with the original manga concluding, his overall sentiment towards the past is more of a "congratulations," extending deep thanks to all the staff and supporters.

“GIVEN: The Future Given to Us” is the representative work of manga artist Natsuki Kizu, blending elements of music, school life, and romance, serialized in the BL monthly magazine since 2013 and receiving widespread acclaim. Following the success of the manga, a radio drama CD was released in 2016, followed by an animated adaptation in 2019, depicting the growth stories of the protagonists Mafuyu and Ritsuka. The movie released in 2020 also received enthusiastic reception and achieved impressive box office results in a short time.

With the final volume of the manga released in 2023, the production team has planned a new work titled “GIVEN: The Future Given to Us - The Movie: Hiiragi Mix” set to launch in 2024, directed by the director of “As a Main Character! ~ The Hated Leading Lady and Her Secret Work ~,” retaining the original voice cast, focusing on the popular character "Hiiragi." This series showcases delicate character emotions, thought-provoking dialogues, and exquisite art style, bringing fans a visual and emotional feast.
