Legislators from the Kuomintang criticized the ruling party and questioned the effectiveness of the leaders' responses from various countries. Legislators emphasized again that although the Executive Yuan head mentioned consulting with the opposition party, there seems to be no intention to stop spreading rumors locally. Moreover, participants in the National Security Council unexpectedly revealed predictions regarding the tariffs, indicating that the government is not performing well in its responses. For three days, the tariff issue has still not found a proper solution, and related statements have been reiterated. More news reports have mentioned that the government has sent personnel to Washington for negotiations and will provide assistance to affected industries.
