Cao Xingcheng suggested that the Kuomintang should undergo a purge, expelling all legislators who violate anti-communist policies, in order to align with the current recall movement. He mentioned that the Kuomintang should be renamed as the "Taiwan Kuomintang" and advocated for the abolition of the "One China" concept in the constitution to protect Taiwan's interests. Cao Xingcheng emphasized that this large-scale recall movement is aimed at driving out communist forces and called on Kuomintang members to pledge loyalty to Taiwan. He warned that if China attacks Taiwan, Kuomintang members will find it difficult to escape accountability.
The large recall has continued to attract attention. The leader of the recall of KMT legislator 徐巧芯, the founder of United Microelectronics Corporation, proposed three suggestions to the Kuomintang. First, in line with this large recall movement, the party should undergo a cleansing, expelling all legislators who contradict the anti-communist policies of Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Ching-kuo, and who follow the directives of the KMT caucus in the Legislative Yuan, thus siding with the Communist Party and selling out Taiwan.
He pointed out on social media that the Kuomintang should change its name to the Taiwan Kuomintang in order to qualify for participation in Taiwan's politics. He mentioned that China amended its constitution in 2018, claiming that Taiwan is an inseparable part of its territory, attempting to legally annex the land of the Taiwanese people. He criticized that the Kuomintang has not resisted China's advancing legal and public opinion wars aimed at eliminating Taiwan; rather, it has stood on China's side, believing that opposing the "1992 Consensus" of Xi Jinping is provocative and will lead to cross-strait conflict.
This founder indicated that such a party that favors China betrays the interests of the Taiwanese people and should not continue party activities in Taiwan. He noted that while the Democratic Progressive Party enjoys the advantages of full governance, it has not effectively hindered the Kuomintang from collaborating with China in its infiltration and power seizure in Taiwan, leading the Legislative Yuan to become a stronghold for the CCP's subversion of Taiwan. Recently, the president declared China as an external hostile force; although it is late, it is still a necessary measure.
The recall movement initiated by civic groups against pro-communist legislators is a critical battle to save Taiwan. He called on KMT members to take the following actions: First, align with this large recall movement and cleanse the party by expelling legislators who contradict the anti-communist policies of Chiang Kai-shek; second, change the party name to Taiwan Kuomintang, because "China" is an external threat to Taiwan, and continued use of this name amounts to oppressing the Taiwanese people; third, promote the abolishment of the relevant implications of "One China" in the constitution to prevent certain individuals from exploiting this constitution to rationalize betrayal and harm towards Taiwan.
He emphasized that this large recall is not simply to allow the DPP to regain control of the Legislative Yuan, but rather a collaboration between blue and green forces to expel the communist bandits and defend Taiwan. He stated that he still supports healthy competition between parties, but it is essential to demand loyalty to Taiwan from the parties. Currently, the KMT legislators are loyal to China, and therefore must be recalled.
He hopes that KMT members can be loyal to Taiwan, correct the course, starting with the name change. He pointed out that party members should understand that if China invades Taiwan, they will also be regarded as counter-revolutionaries, facing a thorough reckoning, for believing that opposing Taiwanese independence will allow them to live safely under China's rule is overly naïve.
