Therefore, the Taiwan People's Party faction sent a letter to the Legislative Yuan Speaker's office at 1:30 PM today, suggesting that Speaker Han convene party consultations on Monday, and demanding that the Executive Yuan provide a special report at the meeting on the 8th addressing the "government's serious negotiations with the U.S. and the results," "efforts to obtain tariff exemptions or trade agreements," and "comprehensive preparations for corporate assistance plans and supply chain adjustments." This could consolidate consensus between parties and jointly respond to the significant impact brought by the tariffs, seeking a way out for the competitiveness of Taiwan's industries.
