The stationmaster immediately went down to the tracks to handle the accident, and the operations control center subsequently notified ambulances and transit police. The specific cause of the incident is still under investigation.

Currently, the Bannan Line is operating on a single track for bidirectional service from Yadong Hospital Station to Jiangzicui Station, with an interval of approximately 16 minutes. Additionally, a bus shuttle service is provided from Haishan Station to Longshansi Station, and passengers who urgently need to travel are advised to consider using other transportation or choosing different transfer stations.
