Police indicated that the suspect was not in a good mental state and has yet to explain why she decided to drive the ambulance. This incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. Before stealing the ambulance, the woman had attempted to climb into a private ambulance parked nearby before approaching the Xinxing Division's ambulance to carry out her theft.
