The cherry blossoms at the Xiangshang Avenue of the Wushantou Reservoir are in full bloom, with pink petals drifting in the wind, creating a romantic atmosphere. These cherry blossoms were planted by the "Father of the Chianan Irrigation System," Hatta Yoichi, in 1930, and they have now been growing for 95 years, drawing many tourists to take photos every March. Although this year the blooming time has been slightly delayed to mid-March due to low temperatures, they are currently in full bloom at about 80%. In addition to the cherry blossoms, there are other flowers blooming in the park, and the flower season at Xiangshang Avenue is expected to last until mid-April, with related activities to attract visitors at that time.

The Nanyang cherry blossoms planted along Xiangshang Avenue at the Wushantou Reservoir are in full bloom, with their pink petals adding to the romantic atmosphere. These Nanyang cherry trees have a history of ninety-five years and are located on the boardwalk underneath the Wushantou Dam, stretching over a kilometer long, with about one hundred twenty meters designated as a cherry blossom viewing path. Currently, the twenty-one Nanyang cherries here have become treasures of the Wushantou scenic area, with petals falling gently in the wind, creating a captivating scenery that attracts many visitors for photo opportunities.

The Nanyang cherry blossoms on Xiangshang Avenue were introduced from Japan when the reservoir was completed in 1930, personally planted by the "Father of the Chianan Irrigation System," and have a history of ninety-five years. Every March, during their blooming season, this place becomes the most beautiful scenery in Wushantou. However, due to consecutive low temperatures this year, the flowering period did not begin until mid-March, and they are now about eighty percent in bloom.

Moreover, Nanyang cherry blossoms have been planted around the old water outlet, camping area, waterfront park, and memorial room in the Wushantou area. In addition, other flowers such as yellow flowers, magenta trumpet trees, royal poinciana, cotton trees, and cercis are also in full bloom. The Nanyang cherry blossom season on Xiangshang Avenue is expected to last until mid-April, and the park will also host the National Greenway Chianan Irrigation System cycling event, hoping to attract more visitors to come and enjoy the beauty.
