The romantic pink atmosphere of spring is about to arrive, with the Bauhinia blakeana in New Taipei City's riverside park in full bloom, attracting tourists to come and admire. Bauhinia blakeana, also known as "Hong Kong orchid," has its peak blooming period from March to May each year, featuring beautiful petals in vibrant colors. It is mainly distributed around the Jiangzicui river mouth and the Fujou Art Riverside Park, making now the best time for viewing. The park not only offers greenery and beautiful scenery but also boasts rich ecology and famous landmarks, making it suitable for cycling and walking, allowing citizens to enjoy the beauty of spring.

The High Sand Area Engineering Management Office of New Taipei City points out that as the footsteps of spring approach, the flowers in New Taipei Riverside Park are in full bloom, with the pink flowers of the Bauhinia variegata in the Dahan Creek area being particularly eye-catching. Bauhinia, also known as "Hong Kong Orchid" or "Orchid Tree," belongs to the legume family. Its flowers have an elegant shape and a variety of colors and are widely distributed as street trees and ornamental greenery in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. This flower has five pink petals, one of which features a deep red stripe. Every year, from March to May, the flowering period of Bauhinia occurs, with the blooming flowers resembling pink clouds, mainly concentrated in Jiangzicui Estuary Scenic Riverside Park and Fuzhou Art Riverside Park. Currently, the flowers have bloomed abundantly, becoming a visual focus.

In addition to flower viewing, the riverside parks in the Dahan Creek area have a rich ecological environment and well-known landmarks. The artificial wetlands in Huajiang and Xinhai attract many rare birds and animals. While cycling along the bike path, you can pass by the Xinyue Bridge and admire the reflection of the bridge in the water from the pond side. Photography enthusiasts often come to capture beautiful moments. In Fuzhou Art Riverside Park, there is a "Home of the Sheep." Every day, during two time slots, shepherds provide free fodder so that visitors can experience feeding the sheep, enhancing the fun for both adults and children.
