They have required the operator to make improvements within a specified timeframe; failing to do so could result in fines between NT$60,000 and NT$200 million, according to the Food Safety and Sanitation Management Act.

According to reports, the incident occurred the day before yesterday (the 3rd), with consumers experiencing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. Seven individuals reported symptoms including vomiting, dizziness, nausea, and hand numbness, including a child who even vomited bile. Fortunately, all patients were not in life-threatening conditions after being taken to the hospital. The Health Bureau indicated that the incident was caused by poor air circulation in the restaurant, not an issue with the food materials.

Yesterday, the Health Bureau conducted a joint on-site inspection with the Fire Department and discovered the aforementioned hygiene issues. They have notified the operators to ensure proper ventilation, especially in situations involving charcoal grills and burning charcoal, and to pay special attention to ventilation and exhaust in commercial spaces to avoid the recurrence of carbon monoxide poisoning incidents.
