United Microelectronics Corporation founder Morris Chang today called on the public in Taoyuan's second electoral district to vote for the recall of legislator Tu Quanjie, reiterating his criticisms of lawmakers from the Kuomintang. He pointed out that these legislators spend 10 million each year but grovel to China, which he cannot accept. His remarks resonated widely, and political activist Zhou Xuan noted that the recall of Tu Quanjie would put pressure on Fu Kunqi and other legislators. As of the 4th, the petition has garnered over 20,000 signatures, and the campaign is still ongoing. Chang emphasized that Taiwanese people should not be harmed by legislators who assist China.

UMC founder曹興誠 (Cao Xingcheng) went to Taoyuan's second electoral district this afternoon to hold a campaign rally, calling on the public to support the recall of涂權吉 (Tu Quanji). He criticized the KMT representatives in the Legislative Yuan for refusing to participate in the president's inauguration ceremony while trying to appease China. He stated that spending tens of millions annually on legislators who disrespect Taiwan in China is completely unacceptable. Political worker周軒 (Zhou Xuan) pointed out that if Tu Quanji is recalled, the likelihood of recalling傅崐萁 (Fu Kuanqi),王鴻薇 (Wang Hongwei), and徐巧芯 (Xu Qiaoxin) will increase, urging everyone to support this movement through action.
A major recall movement is ongoing across Taiwan, and Cao Xingcheng also went to Taoyuan for a campaign during the Qingming holiday, targeting the Communist Party.
Cao Xingcheng stated: "In the eyes of everyone in Taiwan, we are viewed as separatists by the CCP because our territory has already been taken from us. They have become the temple priests, while we have turned into beggars. We should not allow this problem to continue." He strongly criticized Beijing's actions and accused KMT legislators of undermining the dignity of the nation, which is absolutely unacceptable to the public.
He emphasized: "You (KMT) completely refused to attend President Lai's inauguration ceremony, yet went to Beijing to cater to the Communist Party, which makes it feel like a servant greeting the master. Wang Hongwei even dared not call Tsai Ing-wen the President of Taiwan on CCTV, but referred to her as the leader of the Taiwan region, which is truly a self-deprecation of national dignity. We spend about 10 million a year to support those who disregard our Republic of China in China."
Political worker Zhou Xuan analyzed that recalling Tu Quanji will bring three major benefits: first, to recall unprofessional legislators; second, to prevent legislators from spreading negative influence in the Legislative Yuan; and third, recalling Tu Quanji will simultaneously impact others like Fu Kuanqi.
As of the 4th, the second-stage petition had exceeded 20,000 signatures, reaching the goal of 50%, but time is running out. Volunteer Rick for the recall of Tu Quanji stated: "We gather here because we love this land and do not want our home to be destroyed by legislators who are opening the back door for Chinese influences. Everyone cannot accept Tu Quanji's actions."
It is worth mentioning that not only is the recall movement of Tu Quanji progressing smoothly, but there is also good news regarding the plan to recall 洪孟楷 (Hong Mengkai), as they collected a stack of signature sheets 9 centimeters thick in just one day on the 4th, and the recall team will continue to work hard to gather more signatures.
