Deepening the art exchange between Taiwan and Japan, Hsinchu's talented artist Huang Yumei (front row left six) was invited to Japan to showcase her exhibition.

Huang Yumei, the vice chairman of the Taiwan International Tze-Chi Association Zhu-Miao District and founding president of the Hsinchu Xiangyu Tze-Chi Association, has been invited to participate in the cross-strait Taiwan-Japan exchange exhibition “Multitudes of Artistic Expressions” held in Osaka, Japan. This art and cultural exhibition activity, co-planned by artistic professional teams from both Taiwan and Japan, offers not only a feast of art but also an important exchange platform for deepening cultural connections.

While participating in the exhibition in Japan, Huang Yumei is diligently promoting artistic exchanges between Taiwan and Japan, which has garnered the favor of the organizers. Her painting was selected for the “56th Kanagawa Prefecture Exhibition” last year and will be exhibited at the Ginza New Year's Grand Exhibition in Japan this year, with her artistic footprints extending across the Taiwan Strait and the international stage.

Huang Yumei stated that this exhibition is organized by the Japanese NPO “Multitudes of Artistic Expressions Cultural and Educational Institute” and will take place from April 1 to 6 at the Osaka Museum of Fine Arts. This exhibition, themed “Meeting Friends through Art,” invites numerous renowned artists from Taiwan and Japan to participate, showcasing over two hundred remarkable artworks across various media including oil painting, ink wash, and sculpture, reflecting the creative vitality of artists from both countries and the achievements of cultural integration.

She mentioned that the theme of her exhibited work is “Resilience,” expressing the unwavering spirit and profound artistic meaning of life after trials through layers of stacked brushstrokes and colors, inviting viewers to collectively feel the resilience and aesthetic value of life. Huang Yumei feels very honored to contribute to the transnational cultural exchange for her hometown Hsinchu alongside many outstanding artists from Taiwan.

Huang Yumei emphasized that after three years of maintenance and renovation, this exhibition at the Osaka Museum of Fine Arts is the first major art exhibition since its reopening, witnessing the exquisite creations of Taiwanese and Japanese artists while also opening a new chapter for this art palace.
