This morning around 7 o'clock, a traffic accident occurred in the Anle District of Keelung City on Section 1 of Anle Road, where a small passenger vehicle was driving in the wrong direction and collided with other vehicles. After receiving the report, the Fourth Police Precinct of the Keelung City Police Department sent officers to the scene immediately. Police found that a 55-year-old man surnamed Chen was driving the small passenger car in the wrong direction, crashing into several parked vehicles on the roadside. Fortunately, no one was injured at the scene. The police detected a strong smell of alcohol from Chen and conducted a breath alcohol test, which revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.29mg/l. Subsequently, the police transferred Chen to the local prosecutor's office for investigation in accordance with relevant provisions of the Criminal Code regarding public endangerment, while continuing to implement traffic control at the scene until the vehicles were removed and the road was reopened to traffic.
