A 19-year-old military policeman with the surname Hsu in New Taipei City suspected that his girlfriend, Liu, had someone else and strangled her to death in May of last year. He then violated her corpse twice. The court ultimately sentenced him to life imprisonment and stripped him of his civil rights for life. Both Hsu and Liu were military comrades, and due to his excessive controlling behavior, they had arguments that led Liu to propose a breakup. After Liu insisted on the breakup, Hsu lost control of his emotions and chose to kill her brutally. Not only did he beat the corpse afterward, but he also attempted to prevent others from providing assistance, which is shocking. This case has drawn public attention, and the judge deemed Hsu's actions extremely heinous, causing significant harm to the victim's family.

A 19-year-old military police officer surnamed Hsu, suspecting that his girlfriend, a colleague surnamed Liu, was cheating, strangled her to death on May 18 of last year. He subsequently violated the corpse twice and was ultimately sentenced to life imprisonment by the New Taipei District Court, with lifelong deprivation of civil rights.

During the investigation, Hsu stated that the first violation did not meet his expectations for sexual intercourse, so he decided to do it again. He even lay on his girlfriend's corpse while attempting to prevent her family from performing emergency resuscitation, demonstrating extremely cold behavior.

According to the investigation, Liu and Hsu had been classmates since high school, and after graduating, they both enlisted in the military and were assigned to the same unit, later developing a romantic relationship. However, Liu felt that Hsu's controlling nature was too strong, leading to frequent arguments, and she eventually decided to break up with him on May 16 of last year. Unwilling to accept this and suspecting Liu of betrayal, Hsu broke into Liu's residence on the evening of May 17. After a heated argument, he killed Liu the following morning.

Liu's family attempted to contact her after not receiving any news, but Hsu responded, "She is dead," and tried to prevent them from entering the room. By the time help arrived, Liu's corpse was shocking, and Hsu attempted to evade responsibility by pretending to commit suicide.

The judge pointed out that Hsu lost control of his emotions and committed a major crime, causing irreparable trauma to Liu's family. He ultimately decided to sentence him to life imprisonment for murder and imposed an additional sentence for the violation of the corpse.
